I really enjoy working from charts rather than text, and so that is how I designed this pattern. The pattern will fit 34-38” bust. We hope.
Materials
7 x 50g balls of Jaeger Sienna 4-ply (or any nice 4-ply yarn)
Pair of 3mm needles
Pair of 4mm needles
2mm crochet hook
12 poppers or hooks as desired
Yarn darning needle
Back
Using 3mm needles, cast on 117 sts.
Work 10 rows in garter st.
Change to 4mm needles and work 1 row in st.st.
Starting with a P row, work from chart:
Fronts (for both)
Using 3mm needles, cast on 59 sts.
Work 10 rows in garter st.
Change to 4mm needles and work 1 row in st.st.
Starting with a P row, work from chart:
Sleeves (both alike)
Using 3mm needles, cast on 53 sts.
Work 10 rows in garter st.
Change to 4mm needles and work 1 row in st.st.

Making Up
Whilst I’m usually too lazy to block pieces before making up, it is worth doing so for this design. When all pieces are sewn together make a front border: with right side facing pick up all sts./rows down one half of the neck and front, work 10 rows in garter st. Cast of with a crochet hook, working 3 d.c. into st. where neck shaping begun on the front. Do the same for the other side. Sew on poppers (which I used) or hooks, as desired.
